Brian just gave his life to Christ!
How exciting is that!?
A couple of Fridays ago Brian stopped in our Friday night Hang Time outreach. I was really excited to see him because I probably hadn’t seen him for a couple of years. It was cool to chat with him and catch up with him on what he has been doing in life. Just before the Bible he came up to me to say goodbye, but I convinced him to stay.
The point of the message that night was Jesus raising from the dead. I thought that would be a fitting topic seeing as it was the day after Halloween. We talked about who Jesus was from Isaiah 53 and 1 Corinthians 15. At the end of the message I shared the gospel and invited anyone that was not a believer to pray to receive Christ.
After the message Brian came up to me again to say goodbye. At that point I asked him what he thought about God, and specifically what he thought about the message. I was blown away to hear that He prayed to receive Christ!! I was so excited and so was he! I asked him if he felt different. His response was “Yeah, I feel way better. Like there is a weight taken off of me.”
Please pray for Brian that He would continue to grow in his relationship with Christ!
